Blumo Speech is a state-of-the-art therapeutic application for speech and language therapists, designed to bridge the clinical setting with a colorful, engaging world of interactive play that enriches each child’s
learning process.
The application was developed through hundreds of hours of clinical practice and data collection, and continues to evolve along a clear professional roadmap guided by senior speech-language therapists. Its goal is to create a focused, intuitive, accessible, and motivating therapeutic environment for both clinicians and children.
Blumo Speech is a precise, data-driven therapeutic tool that enhances clinical work, strengthens children’s engagement throughout the process, and supports personalized home-based practice plans. It was created to give speech-language therapists and parents full control over
every stage of the therapeutic experience, both in the clinic and at home.
Blumo Speech is developed and used in collaboration with ALYN Hospital, one of Israel’s leading pediatric rehabilitation centers. Alongside this clinical partnership, the application is already in active use across multiple private therapy centers and by numerous speech-language therapists, supporting daily clinical sessions and structured home practice. This broad real-world adoption reflects the app’s clinical relevance, reliability, and practical value in diverse therapeutic settings.

EYE LEVEL CENTER

Meet the SLP Behind Blumo
Blumo was created by Mor Cohen Kalmi, M.A., a licensed speech-language pathologist with 15 years of pediatric clinical experience. Mor directs a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center, leading an interprofessional team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, a behavior analyst and mental health clinicians, and she personally evaluates and treats children from toddlerhood through adolescence.
Mor is PROMPT-certified and brings deep expertise in oral function, feeding and breath support. These are the skills where children need the most consistent practice between sessions, and they form the core of Blumo’s activity library: oral-motor and feeding skills, breathing, and early sound production.
Her guiding principle is simple: “When a child comes into my therapy room, the first thing I do is get down to their eye level. That’s where everything begins.” Every Blumo activity follows that idea. It is play-based, built around what keeps a child motivated, and designed so practice feels like a win rather than a chore.
Mor is also a trained Adlerian parent coach, and caregiver coaching is central to her whole-child, family-centered approach. Children make the greatest gains when practice continues at home, but carryover only happens when parents know exactly what to do and feel confident doing it. Blumo was built to close that gap, giving SLPs a clinician-designed home program they can assign, parents clear guidance they can follow, and kids activities they actually want to do.
Created by an SLP, for SLPs and the families they serve.
